The CD Pub adventure is already 19 years old…
It all started with Carmen Torres. Carmen was a fabric artist: a seamstress by trade, she had the opportunity, about twenty years ago, to become a sales representative for an agency in the Grand Duchy. And then, she fell in love. Her gift of the gab, her energy, her charisma… This job was made for her! She quickly became one of the most successful and comfortable sales representatives in her stilettos.
Shortly after, the agency closed. But Carmen, a passionate woman if ever there was one, decided in October 2002 to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure: she opened her own sales promotion agency, supported by her husband Dominique (you know the saying, ” Behind every great woman hides… ” 😊).
The start-up resembled that of many entrepreneurs: limited resources, many projects. CD Pub’s activities began from their home: the dining room served as a meeting room, the garage as a storage space, and the kitchen as a training room. Yoann, Carmen and Dominique’s eldest son, remembers: ” At lunchtime, I was often at the table with the facilitators in training .” CD Pub’s missions at the time were mainly commercial animation. Merchandising quickly followed, in high demand by stores. For the first activities, the whole family was involved: Carmen and Yoann worked as facilitators and demonstrators, Dominique as a microphone facilitator.
As Carmen was very active on the ground, she quickly became a reference in Luxembourg – the company thus evolved very quickly. 12 months after its inception, it was necessary to find premises, a real one, in Luxembourg.
The adventure continued: in 2004, the Events department was launched (providing hosts and hostesses). In 2007, it was the turn of the Sales Force department: clients were fully satisfied with the CD Pub hosts and now wanted to have real representatives dedicated to their brands on a daily basis. In 2010, the provision of communication materials. In 2015, new premises were opened in Esch-sur-Alzette, which is still the current headquarters.
Today? CD Pub is a key player in the Grand Duchy, and the company also operates in the Belgian and French markets through its network of partners. With nearly 250 Field Marketing clients, 150 active ambassadors, and 1,250 field campaigns each month, the Torres-Amodeo family, which also welcomed Lucas, the youngest son, is more than ever hard at work.
Responsiveness – Tailor-made – Transparency – Flexibility…
… And long live CD Pub !
PS And here is the result of the last rebranding dating from the end of 2019.
