CD PUB is above all a family story. It all started in October 2002 with in-store sales promotion, and for the first actions the whole family was involved: Carmen (the founder) and Yoann (her son) worked as facilitator and demonstrator, Dominique (Co-founder ) as a microphone host.

CD PUB is a big Family and the “Human” aspect has always been at the heart of the company’s concerns, because it is not only the fuel that drives it forward but it is also and above all a reflection of the image of CD PUB, our first showcase .

At CD PUB we do not recruit qualified candidates but candidates with potential…

Indeed, for us the diploma criterion is not essential, because the positions offered do not require particular qualifications but rather behavioral skills, such as the ability to adapt, the ability to organize or even autonomy. . Above all, we are looking for people who will convey a positive image of the company through their professionalism  : diligence, punctuality, ability to communicate and even responsiveness are criteria highly appreciated at CD PUB.

However, the expected qualities are obviously not the same depending on the position offered and the profiles also differ:

Students or young people entering working life will instead be entrusted with event or street marketing missions which require a certain physical condition.

Ex: distributing flyers or scanning entries for several hours outdoors, donning the costume of a mascot, towing a mobile display on a bike, etc.

This allows them to develop experiences of the world of work, to facilitate their entry into working life, to acquire useful knowledge for their professional life and in certain cases, has contributed to the development of a project or the discovery of new directions.

It is also important for our company to be socially committed by contributing to the professional integration of seniors who represent a significant part of our workforce. This is not for a question of image, but above all because they bring real added value to the company thanks to their experience/expertise, autonomy, flexibility, perspective, etc.

We will mainly find them on commercial animation missions which require a certain flair , autonomy or even a taste for contact and communication. However at CD PUB, we advocate diversity in teams as much as possible, whether in terms of gender or age. Intergenerationalism helps promote greater social cohesion , stronger solidarity and even better productivity at work. Ex: for event or service station missions, it is common to have mixed young and senior teams, because the latter are reference collaborators, who have expertise, maturity and are not easily impressed.

Merchandiser positions are mainly occupied by men due to heavy loads to carry, as for brand representatives, it is the strength of persuasion and the ability to negotiate which will be favored.

In any case, it is not gender or age that influences the type of mission proposed, but rather the person’s ability to handle the mission as professionally as possible. At CD PUB, versatility is highly appreciated. It is common to find our staff both on event missions and on in-store commercial animation missions.

This is also what appeals to a large part of our employees who have been with us for some time, the diversification of missions for less monotony .
